It was around 5:30 PM when I heard something at the door. Maybe Mom and Dad are back! I waited by the door as it slowly opened. Oh, it's Aunty Gail and Uncle Arvin. I looked at them as they came in and said "Hi Lola!" then I looked passed them to see if anybody else was out there. Unfortunately, they quickly closed the door behind them. At least they are finally here to refill my bowl.
Sigh.
Aunty Gail was trying to play with me but she doesn't really interest me.
I was distracted by Uncle Arvin's "Catch the Red Dot on the Floor" game, he's more fun!
They left after playing with me and came back after a while, but this time Aunty Gail was alone. Great, I'm stuck with her all night. She sat on the couch and I sat by the table and we stared at each other for quite a while. She started petting me and playing with me but I think she got scared because I was purring deeply, which sounded like I was growling under my breath. Hehehe.
When it was time for bed, she took out her laptop and started watching some tv show. I got up on the bed and started investigating. I hope she turns it off and sleeps soon, I'm feeling kind of sleepy.
I stepped on the keyboard and started gnawing on the corner of the screen but she's still not getting it.
I'll give her a couple more minutes before I bug her again...
Waiting...
... and waiting... When are you going to sleep, Aunty Gail?
Luckily , she went to sleep and I finally curled up in my spot.
I woke up at around 4:30 AM as it was already bright outside. I was still a bit groggy as I inched towards this female figure on my bed. I moved closer to her face with half-opened eyes...*Sniff sniff* Oh right, it's Aunty Gail. I slowly moved to the other side and saw a male figure. I moved closer to his face... *sniff sniff* hmm.. It's Uncle Arvin, yay! Does Mom and Dad know he's here too? Oh well, Good morning Uncle Arvin! *smooch smooch*
A few times at around 5:30 AM I was playing with the budgies and Aunty Gail kept running out of the room to ask me what's wrong. She looked so confused because I was sitting comfortably on the couch, away from the budgies. What she doesn't know won't hurt her! Hehehe. I hope I wasn't annoying her.
When they were about to leave, Aunty Gail was scrambling to get her things. Uncle Arvin knew better since he started playing "Catch the Red Dot on the Floor" with me again.
Sadly, they had to leave to go to work. *sigh* Hmm... I can't wait until they get back. It's fun scaring Aunty Gail, she's always so jumpy!
ohh Lola! you're so cute! I love your stories :)
